My newborn lifestyle sessions are shot in the comfort of your home with a very relaxed feel. I use mostly natural light while capturing the joy between family members and love you share for your newborn in your home!
I love to keep the focus on your newborn/family during the session. I will bring a moses basket for some solo newborn shots; however, I am not a posed newborn or newborn studio photographer. I believe in focusing more on the connection with your newest addition, and do not pose the newborn in buckets or on blankets.
For a typical newborn lifestyle session with SBP, the newborn will wear a neutral colored onesie/outfit of your choice. For a portion of the session, the baby may also be loosely lifestyle wrapped in a blanket and/or stretchy swaddle blanket.
You will receive access to my newborn wardrobe- I have a variety of outfits (neutral footed sleepers, onesies, outfits, & rompers, in beige, white, & light grey), blankets and swaddle wraps (assortment of colors) I will bring to the session.

FAQ
How does booking work??
I will put you on my calendar for roughly one week past your due date. Newborn lifestyle sessions typically take place within the first 7-21 days after birth but can be anytime during the first month. I also offer older baby newborn lifestyle sessions which can be anytime during the fourth trimester.
We will be in close contact leading up to your due date, and confirm the exact session date once your little one arrives.
$150 deposit is due to reserve your session. The remaining amount of $400 is due the date of your session via booking link.
If booking January-June 2026, Newborn lifestyle sessions take place on a Tuesday or Thursday (weekdays only), typically around 10AM or 12PM (based on photographer's availability) and last 1.5 hours.
When should we book?
It is recommended you book early in your second trimester, as I only take a limited amount of newborns/month.

Do you travel?
Yes, based on my availability and time of the year, I do travel outside of my travel range. Price is based on location and if you are outside of my normal travel range, there will be additional fees.
